We are very pleased to announce that our first MRRG meeting of 2017 will take place this coming Friday, February 10th at 4 PM in JHB 617. Dr. Oliveira has been a professor at the Federal University of Acre in Brazil since 2013. She has written articles on Woolf and Whitman, Elizabeth Bishop, Clarice Lispector, and Victoria Ocampo. For our meeting, Dr. Oliveira will be discussing the translation and reception of Virginia Woolf in Brazil, considering what it would mean to have a South American Woolf. Please e-mail illya.nokhrin@mail.utoronto.ca for a pre-circulated version of the paper.
